Why I Started PawOfView?
A year ago, I was just someone trying to do the best for two newborn kittens I had rescued. I bottle-fed them, kept them warm, and gave them all the love I could. But I lost my job, ran out of time, and made a decision I still think about every day. On a rainy motorbike ride, I slipped on wet pavement while taking them to a neighbor’s. One of them was injured in the fall and passed shortly after. The other, too weak to live without his brother, followed.
That experience changed me. I was never a cat person but i adopted one with partner, after some self-reflection of course. It’s been a great decision :)
All that made me realize how fragile these little lives are and how much more we can do to help them live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
Why This, Why Now?
I'm starting PawOfView because I believe cat care, especially cat nutrition, deserves way more attention than it gets.
Too many people think dry food (kibble) is enough. It’s convenient, sure, but cats deserve real food. With the right guidance, feeding your cat fresh, balanced meals doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. You can meal prep for your cat the same way you do for yourself.
This newsletter is my way of building something that delivers real value, not just another scroll-past post on social media. I’m done making content for likes and views. I want to build something meaningful, something useful. And Substack is the perfect place to do that.
What You Can Expect

Easy, healthy homemade cat food recipes
Nutrition tips for longer, happier feline lives
Printable meal prep guides and checklists
Occasional fun cat facts and wellness ideas
Everything will be free at first. If people find it valuable, I might add a paid tier later with extras like exclusive recipes or deep dives on specific health issues.
